DoS via OSPF packet parsing in Cisco Secure Firewall ASA/FTD

A vulnerability in the OSPF protocol processing of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software allows an authenticated, adjacent attacker to exhaust memory on an affected device, resulting in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. The issue is caused by improper input validation when the OSPF protocol parses packets; an attacker can trigger the condition by sending crafted OSPF packets to the device.
