CVE-2026-45841 is a divide-by-zero flaw in the Linux kernel netfilter nfnetlink_osf component. In nf_osf_match_one() in net/netfilter/nfnetlink_osf.c, the OSF_WSS_MODULO branch computes ctx->window % f->wss.val without validating that f->wss.val is non-zero. A user with CAP_NET_ADMIN can register a malformed OSF fingerprint through nfnetlink with wss.val set to 0. When a subsequent matching TCP SYN packet is processed against that fingerprint, the kernel executes the modulo operation with a zero divisor, triggering a divide error and kernel panic. The fix rejects invalid fingerprints in nfnl_osf_add_callback(), including fingerprints with wss.val == 0 and invalid wss.wc values greater than or equal to OSF_WSS_MAX.
