Kingdom Market was a darknet criminal marketplace active from March 2021 through December 2023. It functioned as an illicit online market facilitating thousands of transactions involving illegal drugs, stolen financial information, fraudulent identification documents, counterfeit currency, and malware. Purchases were conducted using cryptocurrency and anonymous or semi-anonymous user accounts. Law enforcement linked the marketplace to substantial narcotics trafficking, including heroin, purported prescription opioids, methamphetamine, and fentanyl-tainted products, as well as sales of stolen identity and financial data and false identity documents. Operational support attributed to its administrators included web administration, management of forum and social-media presence, and coordination around marketplace transactions. Kingdom Market is best characterized as a financially motivated cyber-enabled criminal enterprise rather than a state-backed intrusion group.
