Compiled artifacts were present in the ASP.NET temporary-compilation environment on a Windows server. It was deployed alongside other web shells to maintain attacker access following exploitation of a vulnerable public-facing application. GhostWebShell code has also been incorporated into the GhostContainer .NET backdoor.
