PLOTSAFE is a financially motivated Windows malware cluster built around GoKrypt-packed, 64-bit DLL loaders written in Go. Its DLL campaign was observed in March 2026, with executable precursors dating to November 2025. Observed execution includes PowerShell commands supplied through standard input and outbound data exfiltration. The underlying payload has not been independently identified, and specific credential, session-cookie, or cryptocurrency-wallet harvesting capabilities have not been established.
PLOTSAFE employs string obfuscation and deceptive metadata to impede analysis. Its loaders conceal strings in stack fragments and disguise XOR operations through equivalent arithmetic expressions. First-generation samples contain an Authenticode signature copied from a legitimate Bandisoft binary, but the signature fails digest validation and does not provide valid signing assurance. Samples also impersonate legitimate software vendors through inconsistent product and copyright metadata.
Second-generation samples embed template-generated natural-language decoys intended to persuade language models and automated scanners that the malware is benign. A small retention function preserves these otherwise unused strings against Go compiler elimination; the strings do not implement the claimed benign behavior. This technique targets AI-assisted analysis rather than altering conventional binary-analysis mechanisms. No specific threat actor or targeted industry has been established. Delivery methods, DLL-loading mechanisms, and persistence remain unknown.

Go-based malware that generates templated anti-analysis instructions with varying claims of benign functionality. A 29-byte dummy function references the embedded strings to prevent the compiler from removing them. Its underlying malicious functionality is not specified.
Go-based malware that generates templated AI-evasion statements with varying descriptions of supposedly benign activities. A 29-byte dummy function references the strings to prevent the compiler from removing them. The content does not establish its underlying malicious payload functionality.
