Google released a Chrome Stable update addressing 10 security vulnerabilities, including the critical use-after-free flaw CVE-2026-110922 in Prerender. The release also fixes six high-severity and three medium-severity vulnerabilities across DOM, V8, Core, SVG, Desktop, Compositing, and Workers. Updated versions are 155.0.8059.84/.85 for Windows and Mac and 155.0.8059.84 for Linux, with rollout scheduled over the coming days and weeks.
The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security issued advisory AV26-1060, identifying earlier Chrome versions as affected and recommending that organizations review Google's release notice and apply the updates as they become available. Administrators should verify that managed endpoints reach the updated versions. The supplied notices do not establish active exploitation; Google said vulnerability details may remain restricted until most users have updated or affected third-party dependencies have been fixed.
