Authentication Bypass in QNAP QHora-322 qvpn_db_mgr role_type Handling
CVE-2025-62845 is an improper neutralization of escape, meta, or control sequences vulnerability affecting QNAP QHora devices, including QHora-322, in the qvpn_db_mgr endpoint. The flaw is specifically associated with handling of the role_type parameter. According to the provided context, a remote attacker can abuse this input-handling weakness to bypass authentication, including QBelt VPN authentication, on affected routers. The issue was disclosed in connection with Pwn2Own and is tracked by ZDI as ZDI-26-240 / ZDI-CAN-28423. QNAP states the issue is fixed in QuRouter 2.6.3.009 and later.
