CVE-2007-3010 is a remote command execution vulnerability in the Unified Maintenance Tool component of Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server R7.1 and earlier. The flaw is present in the masterCGI functionality, which insufficiently sanitizes the user-supplied user parameter during a ping action. By injecting shell metacharacters into that parameter, a remote attacker can cause arbitrary operating system commands to be executed by the underlying shell.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module targeting a command injection vulnerability (CVE-2007-3010) in the HTTP management interface of Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server 7.1 and earlier. The exploit abuses the 'masterCGI' binary's 'ping' action, injecting shell metacharacters into the 'user' parameter of a GET request to /cgi-bin/masterCGI. This allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands as the 'httpd' user. The module only supports command-line payloads, as the httpd process terminates spawned shells after responding. The exploit is operational, requiring the target's HTTP(S) management interface to be accessible, and is implemented in Ruby as part of the Metasploit framework.
