CVE-2012-3363 is an XML external entity injection vulnerability in Zend_XmlRpc in Zend Framework 1.x before 1.11.12 and the pre-1.12.0 1.12 release line. Zend_XmlRpc improperly handles SimpleXMLElement classes when processing XML-RPC requests, permitting a remote attacker to supply a DOCTYPE containing an external entity reference. The XML parser can resolve the referenced resource, enabling local-file disclosure or network connections initiated by the affected server.
