CVE-2013-3827 is a remotely exploitable confidentiality vulnerability affecting Oracle Fusion Middleware components that use the Oracle JavaServer Faces implementation, including specified releases of Oracle GlassFish Server, Oracle JDeveloper, and Oracle WebLogic Server. It has been characterized as two path-traversal defects in Oracle's JSF 2 implementation. Improper handling of crafted JSF or web-container request paths can permit traversal outside an intended resource location and unauthorized reading of sensitive files. Oracle's original advisory did not disclose the precise vulnerable function or request vector.
