CVE-2013-7471 is an OS command-injection vulnerability in the WANIPConn1 SOAP service implemented by soap.cgi on affected D-Link DIR-series routers. The service fails to safely handle shell metacharacters supplied in the NewInternalClient, NewExternalPort, or NewInternalPort elements of a SOAP POST request, allowing attacker-controlled input to reach a shell command interpreter. Affected products include DIR-845 firmware before 1.02b03, DIR-600 firmware before 2.17b01, DIR-645 firmware before 1.04b11, DIR-300 revision B, and DIR-865 devices.
