CVE-2014-0033 is a session-fixation flaw in Apache Tomcat 6.0.33 through 6.0.37. A regression in path-parameter handling in CoyoteAdapter causes Tomcat to accept a session identifier supplied in a URL without honoring the disableURLRewriting configuration setting. An attacker can supply or otherwise cause use of an attacker-known session identifier, then induce a victim to authenticate within that session.
