CVE-2014-0363 is an improper X.509 certificate-chain validation vulnerability in Ignite Realtime Smack's ServerTrustManager. Versions before 4.0.0-rc1 do not validate the basicConstraints and nameConstraints extensions when processing certificate chains presented by SSL/TLS XMPP servers. Consequently, a crafted certificate chain that should be rejected under PKIX constraints can be accepted as trusted.
