CVE-2015-0313 is a use-after-free vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player affecting versions before 13.0.0.269, 14.x through 16.x before 16.0.0.305 on Windows and OS X, and before 11.2.202.442 on Linux. The flaw can be triggered remotely via crafted Flash content delivered through web pages, malvertising, watering-hole attacks, or exploit kits. Successful exploitation allows arbitrary code execution in the context of the affected user. The vulnerability was exploited in the wild in early 2015, including in drive-by attack campaigns and exploit kit activity, and was identified as distinct from CVE-2015-0315, CVE-2015-0320, and CVE-2015-0322.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module targeting a use-after-free vulnerability (CVE-2015-0313) in Adobe Flash Player (version 16.0.0.296 and earlier 16.x) on Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit) systems running Internet Explorer 8-11. The exploit leverages a crafted SWF file and an HTML page to trigger the vulnerability when a victim visits a malicious web page. The module is written in Ruby and uses the Metasploit framework's BrowserExploitServer to deliver the exploit. The payload is customizable and can be any Metasploit-supported payload, such as a reverse shell or Meterpreter session. The module references the official Adobe advisory and several public analyses. The only external endpoint referenced is the official Macromedia Flash Player ActiveX control CAB file, used in the HTML template. The exploit is operational and can be used to achieve remote code execution in the context of the browser process on vulnerable systems.
