CVE-2015-1397 is a SQL injection vulnerability in the getCsvFile function of the Mage_Adminhtml_Block_Widget_Grid class in Magento Community Edition 1.9.1.0 and Magento Enterprise Edition 1.14.1.0. The flaw is triggered through the popularity[field_expr] parameter when either popularity[from] or popularity[to] is set, causing attacker-controlled input to be incorporated into SQL processing without proper sanitization. The issue affects the administrative interface and enables a remote authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary SQL commands against the Magento backend database.

This repository contains a Bash script exploit for CVE-2015-1397, also known as the Magento Shoplift vulnerability. The exploit targets Magento installations that have not applied the SUPEE-5344 patch. The script prompts the user for the target URL, desired admin username, and password, then constructs a Base64-encoded SQL injection payload. It sends a POST request to the vulnerable endpoint (/admin/Cms_Wysiwyg/directive/index/) with the payload, which, if successful, creates a new admin user in the Magento database. The script includes input validation, error handling, and clear user prompts. The README provides detailed usage instructions, prerequisites, and background on the vulnerability. The exploit is operational and provides full administrative access to a vulnerable Magento instance upon success.
This repository contains a Python proof-of-concept exploit for CVE-2015-1397, a SQL injection vulnerability in Magento. The main file, CVE-2015-1397.py, targets a Magento instance (defaulting to http://swagshop.htb/index.php) and sends a crafted POST request to the /admin/Cms_Wysiwyg/directive/index/ endpoint. The exploit injects SQL via the 'filter' parameter, creating a new admin user with the credentials 'forme:forme'. If successful, the attacker can log in to the Magento admin panel using these credentials. The repository also includes a brief README referencing the vulnerability and an external blog post for further reading. The exploit is operational and demonstrates the creation of an admin user via SQL injection, but does not include advanced features or payload customization.
