CVE-2016-2510 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in BeanShell (bsh2) versions before 2.0b6. BeanShell's XThis.Handler can be incorporated into a specially constructed object/class chain that executes code when an application deserializes attacker-controlled data through Java serialization or XStream. The flaw becomes exploitable because the presence of the vulnerable BeanShell library on the application's classpath supplies a usable deserialization gadget.
