CVE-2016-4993 is an HTTP response-splitting vulnerability in the Undertow web server used by WildFly 10.0.0 and Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 7 releases before 7.0.2. Undertow insufficiently sanitizes and validates user-controlled input before incorporating it into an HTTP response-header value. An attacker can introduce CRLF sequences to terminate an intended header and inject arbitrary subsequent HTTP headers or response content.
