CVE-2016-8745 is an information-disclosure vulnerability in Apache Tomcat's NIO HTTP connector. Error handling in the sendfile implementation can insert the active Processor object into the Processor cache more than once. The duplicate cache entries can permit the same Processor instance to be assigned to concurrent HTTP requests, causing request- or response-associated state to cross request boundaries. Affected upstream releases include Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.0.M13, 8.5.0 through 8.5.8, 8.0.0.RC1 through 8.0.39, 7.0.0 through 7.0.73, and 6.0.16 through 6.0.48.
