The flaw is an access control issue (CWE-284) that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the affected system by exploiting a local file inclusion (LFI) vulnerability. The vulnerability does not require authentication, making it highly exploitable. The issue was discovered and reported by Core Security, and a public proof-of-concept exploit (EDB-ID 43388) is available.
