CVE-2017-18362 is an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability in ConnectWise ManagedITSync integration through 2017 for Kaseya VSA. When the ManagedITSync web service endpoint exposed through the Kaseya VSA web interface is accessible, an attacker can submit arbitrary SQL statements without authentication. The flaw permits both read and write operations directly against the Kaseya VSA database, effectively granting full direct database access. Public reporting also indicates active exploitation in the wild, including use of the vulnerability to stage ransomware deployment across endpoints managed by the affected VSA server.
