CVE-2017-2595 is an improper pathname restriction vulnerability in the log file viewer of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6 and 7. The viewer does not adequately constrain user-supplied paths to the intended log-file directory, enabling an authenticated user to use path-traversal sequences to access arbitrary files readable by the EAP process.
