CVE-2018-25118 is a remote command injection vulnerability in GeoVision embedded IP devices, confirmed on GV-BX1500 and GV-MFD1501. The flaw is exposed through the /PictureCatch.cgi endpoint and allows an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary operating system commands on the device. Based on the available information, the issue affects end-of-life GeoVision models and is remotely reachable via the web interface.
