CVE-2018-7841 is an unauthenticated OS command-injection vulnerability affecting Schneider Electric U.Motion Builder 1.3.4 and earlier. User-controlled object identifiers submitted to the export functionality are incorporated into an SQLite query that is subsequently embedded in a shell command and executed through PHP's exec() function. The insufficient escaping can be bypassed with shell metacharacters, allowing arbitrary operating-system command execution. The issue bypasses an earlier remediation for CVE-2018-7765.
