CVE-2019-14379 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.9.2. SubTypeValidator mishandles default typing when Ehcache is present, permitting polymorphic deserialization of the Ehcache DefaultTransactionManagerLookup gadget. An attacker able to supply crafted serialized input to an affected Jackson deserialization path can trigger remote code execution.
