CVE-2019-14893 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in FasterXML jackson-databind versions before 2.9.10 and 2.10.0. Polymorphic deserialization can instantiate malicious objects through a Xalan JNDI gadget when ObjectMapper processes untrusted data. Vulnerable configurations include enableDefaultTyping(), @JsonTypeInfo using Id.CLASS or Id.MINIMAL_CLASS, and other polymorphic type-handling paths that permit ObjectMapper.readValue to instantiate attacker-selected classes.
