WP Cost Estimation (Payment Forms Builder) plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 9.642 is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload and file deletion due to missing file type validation in the lfb_upload_form and lfb_removeFile AJAX actions. This allows unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server (potentially enabling remote code execution depending on server configuration and file placement/execution) and to delete server files, including sensitive configuration such as database configuration files; the description notes attackers could delete database configuration files and subsequently upload their own database files.
