CVE-2019-25714 is an unauthenticated arbitrary file write vulnerability in Seeyon OA A8, specifically in the /seeyon/htmlofficeservlet endpoint. A remote attacker can send specially crafted POST requests containing custom base64-encoded payloads to cause the application to write attacker-controlled files into the web application root. Because the write target is the web root, an attacker can place a JSP webshell or other server-executable content and then invoke it over HTTP(S). This turns the file write primitive into remote code execution at the operating-system level in the security context of the web server process.
