CVE-2019-9733 is an authentication bypass vulnerability in JFrog Artifactory 6.7.3. The flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header to impersonate a localhost connection. This enables login with the default credentials for the access-admin account, which is intended only for local password resets. Once authenticated, the attacker can reset the admin password and generate authentication tokens for any user, resulting in full administrative control over the Artifactory instance.
