CVE-2020-11619 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in FasterXML Jackson Databind 2.x before 2.9.10.4. Jackson mishandles the interaction between polymorphic typing and a serialization gadget in Spring AOP, specifically org.springframework.aop.config.MethodLocatingFactoryBean. When an application deserializes attacker-controlled data with unsafe polymorphic type handling enabled, crafted type information can instantiate and invoke gadget-chain behavior.
