CVE-2020-13934 is an uncontrolled resource-consumption vulnerability in Apache Tomcat's handling of direct cleartext HTTP/2 (h2c) connections. Following an HTTP/1.1-to-HTTP/2 upgrade, affected Tomcat versions fail to release the HTTP/1.1 processor. Repeated h2c upgrade requests retain processors and consume heap memory until the JVM throws an OutOfMemoryException, resulting in denial of service. Affected releases are Tomcat 8.5.1 through 8.5.56, 9.0.0.M5 through 9.0.36, and 10.0.0-M1 through 10.0.0-M6.
