CVE-2020-26140 is a Wi-Fi protocol/implementation flaw, part of the FragAttacks class of issues, in which a device incorrectly accepts plaintext data frames while connected to a protected wireless network. The provided context specifically states that the ALFA Windows 10 driver 6.1316.1209 for the AWUS036H accepts plaintext frames in WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 networks. As a result, an attacker can inject arbitrary data frames even though the network is configured to require protection. The same weakness is also described in affected industrial Wi-Fi products as acceptance of plaintext data frames in a protected network.
