CVE-2020-26141 is a Wi-Fi protocol/implementation flaw in which the Message Integrity Check (MIC) of fragmented TKIP frames is not verified. In the provided context, this issue is described in the ALFA AWUS036H Windows 10 driver version 6.1316.1209, and is also listed among FragAttacks-related weaknesses affecting other Wi-Fi implementations. Because fragmented TKIP frames are accepted without proper authenticity verification, an attacker within radio range can craft malicious fragmented frames that are processed as valid traffic on WPA or WPA2 networks using TKIP. This can enable packet injection and, in some scenarios, possible decryption of traffic.
