CVE-2020-26919 is an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in NETGEAR ProSAFE Plus JGS516PE and GS116Ev2 switches affecting firmware versions prior to 2.6.0.43. The flaw is caused by missing function-level access control in the web management interface, specifically in the login endpoint, which fails to enforce authentication on debug actions submitted via POST requests. As a result, a remote attacker can bypass authentication and invoke the device's debug web functionality to execute system commands with administrator-level privileges.
