CVE-2021-26085 is a pre-authorization arbitrary file read vulnerability in Atlassian Confluence Server. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can abuse the /s/ endpoint to access restricted resources and read files without prior authentication. The issue affects Confluence Server versions before 7.4.10 and versions from 7.5.0 before 7.12.3. The vulnerability breaks Confluence access controls by allowing retrieval of resources that should be restricted, exposing sensitive application or system data to an external attacker.
