CVE-2021-28149 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the log export handler of Hongdian H8922 3.0.5 devices. The /log_download.cgi endpoint does not validate user-controlled input in the type parameter. An authenticated remote attacker with minimal privileges can supply directory-traversal sequences to request files outside the intended log-export location, including system files such as /etc/passwd.
