CVE-2021-29442 affects Nacos before version 1.4.1. When Nacos is deployed with embedded Derby storage, the ConfigOpsController exposes management functionality through a Derby-related endpoint that is not protected by the expected security controls. Specifically, the /derby endpoint lacks the protection applied to other sensitive management endpoints, allowing unauthenticated users to access database management capabilities. The flaw is an authorization weakness in which a sensitive administrative interface is exposed without proper access restriction. Installations using external storage such as MySQL are not affected by this specific issue.

This repository contains a Nuclei template (CVE-2021-29442.yaml) for exploiting CVE-2024-4577, a critical PHP CGI argument injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote code execution on XAMPP servers. The template sends a specially crafted POST request to various common PHP CGI endpoints, injecting arguments that enable 'allow_url_include' and set 'auto_prepend_file' to 'php://input', then supplies a PHP payload (phpinfo()) in the request body. Successful exploitation is detected by checking for a 200 HTTP status and the presence of 'PHP Version' in the response. The README provides minimal context and unrelated search queries. The main file is a proof-of-concept exploit, not a weaponized tool, and is designed for use with the Nuclei scanning framework. No hardcoded IPs or domains are present; all endpoints are parameterized for scanning.
