A vulnerability in Apache OpenOffice through version 4.1.9 allows documents to contain non-http(s) hyperlinks that, when opened, can result in the execution of untrusted code. This issue has existed since approximately 2006. The vulnerability arises from insufficient validation of hyperlink protocols, allowing attackers to craft links that trigger execution of arbitrary code when a user interacts with them.
