CVE-2021-36380 is an unauthenticated operating system command injection vulnerability in Sunhillo SureLine before version 8.7.0.1.1. The flaw is exposed through the web interface endpoint /cgi/networkDiag.cgi, where attacker-controlled input supplied via the ipAddr or dnsAddr parameters is insufficiently sanitized before being incorporated into shell command execution. By injecting shell metacharacters into these parameters, a remote attacker can cause arbitrary OS commands to be executed by the underlying system. Available reporting indicates successful command execution occurs with root privileges, making this a high-impact remote code execution issue when the management interface is reachable.
