CVE-2021-44906 is an incomplete-fix bypass of CVE-2020-7598 in the Node.js argument-parsing library minimist. In versions 1.2.5 and earlier, the argument key-setting logic insufficiently restricts special property paths. Crafted constructor or proto argument payloads can cause properties to be added to or modified on Object.prototype, resulting in prototype pollution.
