CVE-2021-47468 is an improper locking flaw in the Linux kernel mISDN NetJet ISDN driver. During device teardown, the driver could invoke the card ISAC release callback while holding a lock and executing in atomic context. The callback can flush work and therefore sleep, resulting in a “sleeping function called from invalid context” kernel fault. The upstream fix defers the release callback until after the relevant lock has been released.
