CVE-2022-24407 is a SQL injection vulnerability in the Cyrus SASL SQL plugin in versions 2.1.17 through 2.1.27. The password/property value supplied during storage is not correctly quoted or escaped when sql_auxprop_store constructs INSERT or UPDATE statements through sql_create_statement. Crafted password input can therefore alter the intended SQL query and execute attacker-controlled SQL commands. Cyrus SASL 2.1.28 fixes the flaw.
