CVE-2022-29081 is an access-control bypass vulnerability affecting Zoho ManageEngine Access Manager Plus before 4302, Password Manager Pro before 12007, and PAM360 before 5401. The issue allows bypass of access controls on certain REST API URLs by using the "../RestAPI" substring in requests. The vulnerable endpoints are reported to include SSOutAction, SSLAction, LicenseMgr, GetProductDetails, GetDashboard, FetchEvents, and Synchronize. Based on the available information, the flaw is caused by improper enforcement of authorization checks on crafted request paths, enabling requests to reach protected REST functionality through path manipulation.
