This repository provides a proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit for CVE-2022-42045, a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Zemana amsdk.sys kernel-mode driver (and related drivers zam64.sys, zamguard64.sys, zamguard64.sys) used by Zemana AntiMalware, Watchdog Anti-Malware, and Zemana AntiLogger. The exploit is implemented in a single C++ file (PoC.cpp), which crafts and injects custom shellcode into a writable/executable section of the vulnerable driver via IOCTL 0x80002044, then triggers its execution with IOCTL 0x80002014. The PoC demonstrates how an attacker with administrative privileges can execute arbitrary code in kernel mode, for example to disable Driver Signature Enforcement and install unsigned drivers. The README provides detailed technical background, affected products and versions, and mitigation advice. The only fingerprintable endpoints are the device names (\\.\amsdk and \\.\ZemanaAntiMalware) used to communicate with the vulnerable driver.
