CVE-2022-45919 is a race-condition use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel DVB Common Interface (CA EN50221) implementation. The release path can race with disconnection of a DVB device after it has been opened. Missing wait-event synchronization permits device-associated state to be freed while still in use. Linux kernel versions through 6.0.10 are affected.
