CVE-2022-48773 is an error-path flaw in the Linux kernel xprtrdma RPC-over-RDMA transport. When rpcrdma_ep_create() encounters a creation failure, it can leave endpoint members non-NULL but set to error-pointer values. Subsequent cleanup through rpcrdma_ep_destroy() treats those values as valid allocated pointers and attempts to free or dereference them, resulting in a kernel Oops.
