CVE-2022-50087 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel ARM SCPI firmware driver. If an SCPI driver probe fails after assigning the global scpi_info pointer, the pointer can remain set to memory allocated through devm_kzalloc() that is released as part of probe failure cleanup. The stale pointer is exported through get_scpi_ops(), allowing subsequent users to dereference freed memory. The fix leaves scpi_info unset until the SCPI probe completes successfully.
