CVE-2023-22936 is a blind server-side request forgery vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise affecting versions before 8.1.13, 8.2.10, and 9.0.4. The flaw is in handling of the search_listener parameter within a search request, where an authenticated user can cause the Splunk server to initiate outbound requests to attacker-chosen destinations. The SSRF is blind: the initiating user cannot directly view the response unless another vulnerability in the environment provides a response disclosure path.
