CVE-2023-28746, known as Register File Data Sampling (RFDS), is an information-disclosure vulnerability in certain Intel Atom processors. Stale values retained in processor register files after prior operations may be exposed through transient/speculative execution. An authenticated local attacker can use this microarchitectural state to infer sensitive data processed by the affected system.
