CVE-2023-34241 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the CUPS scheduler daemon, cupsd, affecting CUPS versions 2.0.0 through 2.4.5. During client connection handling, the daemon closes an HTTP connection object and frees its associated memory, then subsequently passes the stale object to hostname-resolution logging logic. The defect can affect the entire cupsd process.
