CVE-2023-3777 is a use-after-free flaw in the Linux kernel netfilter nf_tables subsystem. During table-rule flushing, nf_tables_delrule() fails to verify whether the affected chain is bound. Under specific object-lifecycle conditions, the chain owner rule can release the same objects, leaving nf_tables operating on freed memory.
